Gulf Turquoise – Acrylic on canvas, 12″ x 16″
Contemporary realism, landscape
Where I’m from, the Gulf waters are muddied from being west of the Mississippi. Recently we traveled to SW Florida and just like I’ve heard, the beaches are white and the water is turquoise. We drove down Hwy 1 all the way to Key West and saw this small key on the way. I don’t know which one it was or if it had a name but it had this one really nice house on it. I don’t often paint water but I do love waterscapes.
