Bay View – Acrylic on canvas, 24″ x 18″
Contemporary realism, landscape, cityscape
In San Francisco, 800 Chestnut Street is where you’ll find San Francisco Art Institute. Go inside and walk towards the back and you take a journey from the 1600s to the twentieth century. And you’ll find a concrete plaza with the most incredible view of the bay area looking north and east. This view looks north, just to the west of Alcatraz. This painting showcases the houses across the street on Francisco Street – the houses we all watched and wished we owned.
